Veteran global insurance executive to lead commercial strategy and accelerate growth across key markets
SAN DIEGO, Jun. 2, 2026 – Arrowhead Intermediaries (Arrowhead) today announced the appointment of Benjamin Auray as chief commercial officer. In this role, Auray will lead the global platform’s commercial strategy, focusing on organic growth through strengthened broker relationships and expansion into new markets.
Auray brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in the global property and casualty (re)insurance industry. He joins Arrowhead from SCOR Business Solutions, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer, Global Commercial Insurance, leading sustainable growth across international markets and expanding the company’s presence in the U.S., EMEA, APAC, and Latin America.

During his tenure at SCOR, Auray built and led a high-performing global commercial organization, executed innovative distribution strategies across retail and wholesale channels, and expanded the company’s position in key growth segments. He also played a pivotal role in advancing specialty insurance capabilities, including an MGA-based business model, while consistently delivering profitable underwriting results.
